Katia explained to me that she wasn't happy with site she had and didn't feel like she had any control or ownership over it.
I proposed that she send me her photos and let me work on a redesign for her. I already knew Katia very well. She's a huge Frida Kahlo fan, so I started looking at Frida colour schemes and landed on a bold, vibrant palette that reflected Frida's work, but also Katia's friendly and fun personality.
I removed the background from one of her photos and wrapped it in a bubble surrounded by other colourful bubbles in the hero section. The result is a powerful but approachable first impression. As you scroll down on the page, elements appear to float up which makes it probably the most relaxing accountant website out there.
It was so easy working with Katia. She's not afraid to give her honest opinion and the result is a site that reflects her professionalism and the message she wants to convey to her clients.
